Pattern Release – Christmas Swag

Do you love decorating for the Christmas season?  I love having festive items around my house. I am waiting for the time when I can have a coordinated tree, though I do love all the kid-made decorations as well.

Our Christmas Swag pattern released in November last year.

We have a sweet set of 5 designs for you to stitch.  Then using our instructions make the stitched designs into small panels.  They make up so fast I had the sewing part done in a couple of hours. There are a couple of options for the joining of the panels together to make the swag.  I’m not the fastest stitcher so that took me the longest. Sewing – no problem.

We have more designs planned to add to this pattern so you can make your swag bigger, or make multiples to hang around your home.  The swag would make a lovely gift.

Storage for the year.

We realise that Christmas decorations are stored for the majority of the year and when it’s time to bring them out, you don’t want crumpled decorations that need attention before being hung or used.

So we have made our swag to be easily dis-assembled so you can store it flat!!.  Yay, that means you can quickly clip it together and hang it. No curved up corners to iron out! How?  We used Kam snaps for ours or you can use button holes and buttons. the Kam snaps are quick and easy to attach and come in a range of colours. So keep and eye out for the add-on designs being released later this year in time for Christmas 2017.

Here’s my completed swag.  I did finish after Christmas but it was so quick to put together after completing the stitching.
